UV Bug

Hi,

I noticed a bug in UVs on a plane, or maybe I did something wrong.
If the UV is scaled to a trapezoid, the Texture gets broken along a specific diagonal. It doesn't matter which side is scaled, it is always the same diagonal.
   
It also happens when I project with view that the texture is messed up on one side of the diagonal without the UVs being distorted.
   
Can someone explain, what is happening here please?

Hello,

why do you want to scale the UV? This always ends in a distortion of the texture.

Typically you have to scale the face in Edit-Mode and if you want an undistorted texture on the surface, you have to do an UV-Unwrap too.
